The team at QC Armor has identified the need for every day armored vehicles that protect friends and family. This was a segment typically reserved for the rich and famous or corporate executives, but we are pleased to announce a light armor protection package now affordable to many. If you’re looking for peace of mind when transporting family, we have the solution. This package forms a protective belt around the vehicle, surrounding the occupants with level B4 protection. In urban environments the most likely threat will come from carjacking, road rage, robbery, follow-home attacks or crossfire from random street violence. Our Domestic Protection package uses light weight Kevlar in the doors and rear compartment/trunk as well as replacing all factory glass with transparent armor protecting the occupants from handguns as powerful as the .44 Magnum. Prices vary depending on the options the client chooses but we can craft a package to meet most budgets.

Yukon Denali

2021 Yukon Denali

This example highlights the anti-intrusion protection of light weight composite armor in all doors, sides and tailgate providing a protective belt around the vehicle while maintaining the appearance and functionality of a stock vehicle. This level B4 has a few hidden surprises besides the ability to stop some of the most powerful handguns ever produced. Starting with the electric shocking door handles. When activated, a would-be carjacker for example will get an electric jolt similar to the average home power outlet. Moving on to the high decibel “sound canon”. This unseen device generates an extremely loud high frequency sound intended for crowd dispersal, which can also cause pain and disorientation for those exposed. Finally is the armored or transparent armor. This replaces all factory glass with level B4 protection.

Mercedes Benz

Mercedes-Benz AMG GTR

This stunning piece has the B4 protection described above with several options allowing for deterrence and avoidance. All wheels are fitted with high speed ball bearing run flat rollers allowing the occupant(s) to exit the area even if the tires are flat. In addition to the high decibel siren, this vehicle has an internal/external listening device that allows for communication between the occupants and persons outside the vehicle without the need to lower the transparent armor (glass) exposing the occupants to potential danger. For that added level of crowd control this vehicle is fitted with electric shocking door handles as well as pepper spray deployment mounted on top of the rear view mirrors.

Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes Benz G-550

Combining Luxury with security. The G-550 is well appointed with Level B4 transparent armor and light weight Kevlar armor providing the same protection as the other examples listed. This vehicle is outfitted with white flashing strobes lights front and rear. Note: These can be switched out to any color combination legal in your state. The vehicle also has run flat rollers secured to the wheels, P.A. system, and proximity activate warning system. The interior is well appointed with a starlight headliner, reclining captain chairs with electric footrest and a built-in gun safe to properly secure your weapon if needed.

Aston Martin

Aston Martin Vantage

We are often asked if sports cars can be armored, and the answer is yes. Even those without full door window frames. This vehicle has all the features typical of a B4 anti intrusion package with additional security features such as armored roof and floor, grill screens over the exhaust tips, locking fuel cap, armored battery cover, armored ECU’s (electronic control units) and as you look closely, the coupe remained a coupe with the addition of armored bullet traps secured to the roof and “A” pillar. This vehicle is a step above a simple anti-intrusion and considered B4 Enhanced.

Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes Benz Sprinter

This vehicle is a step above with ultra-light weight heavy armor called Dyneema ®. Dyneema is the state of the art when it comes to armor and often applied to large build platforms such as Sprinters when weight considerations are critical. This level of protection is level B5 and is capable of repelling rounds from an AK-47. This build includes many of the previously mentioned security features with the addition of F.L.I.R. (Forward Looking Infra-red) cameras providing surround visual monitoring even with little ambient light. It also boasts a completely customized interior that includes convertible bench seats to a bed and an onboard rest room and an armored roof escape hatch. Planning contingencies of the unexpected is part of what we do.

Smoke Screen

Smoke Screen

This options servers as a deterrent to a vehicle threat such as a car chase or road rage harassment. With a flip of a switch a glycol based fluid is injected into the exhaust causing vaporization and a disorienting smoke screen behind your vehicle. In theory, it could also be used as a deterrent to a mob foot chase or harassment.

Pepper Spray

Pepper Spray

Our mirror mounted pepper spray deployment is an effective deterrent to would be car jackers, anarchists or simple harassment. It’s an effective option allowing the driver time to exit the area as well as keep a safe distance from potential assailants. Both outside mirrors have deployment ports giving the added security of multiple offenders

Tailgate Pepperspray

Tailgate Pepperspray

In addition to our mirror mounted pepper spray deployment, we also offer a high mount deployment on the tailgate of SUV’s. This effective portal provides an additional deterrent from assailants approaching from the rear of the vehicle as well as an impeded slow exit from a mob anarchy scenario. If the vehicle is approached on multiple fronts, it is an excellent option when individual crowd control is required.

Road Tack Deployment

Road Tack Deployment

This option is for worst case scenario only and should be used with extreme caution. This is a very effective option if involved in a car chase or road rage scenario. Once deployed a series of three Inch road spikes is dropped from the rear of the vehicle causing tire failure to any vehicle that encounters these devices. While discouraging the ability for an assailant to continue the road rage encounter for example, it also poses a risk to non-threatening vehicles.
